Forenstix-Blood were developed to provide the investigator with a fast, convenient, sensitive, and reliable presumptive test to identify blood on the crime scene. Each test is a compact, self-contained system consisting of two glass ampoules inside a plastic tube approximately the size of a cigarette. These tests are similar to the well-known tube tests commonly seen in drug field testing. A positive presumptive reaction will yield a deep blue color. Forenstix-Blood are packaged as a box of ten individual tests with ten sampling swabs and complete directions. 10/box
