Buccal Swab Collection Kit

The Buccal Swab Collection Kit is a minimally intrusive method of collecting buccal cells from the inside of a subject’s cheeks for DNA analysis. Cottontipped swabs are placed inside a subject’s mouth and the inside of the cheek is vigorously swabbed, resulting in the transfer of buccal cells onto the swabs. This kit comes packaged in a sealed evidence envelope and contains 1 pack of 2 cottontipped sterile swabs, 1 swab box, 1 pair nitrile gloves, 2 evidence seals, one evidence identification and custody label, and instructions.
