The Braker Box Drag Sled is solidly constructed and is built to handle the 32 lbs of ballast that it uses to maintain uniform contact with the road surface. It has a standard light truck tire tread and an integrated pulling eye for attaching a scale to. The sled is pulled along by the scale and a reading is then taken from the scale that can be plugged into a formula to determine the drag co-efficient of the surface. This can be done in a matter of minutes at a scene.
